Just a note:

I do not judge people. I am a college student myself, so I am perfectly aware of the stress and pressure you are dealing with. I have young, adult children so I am aware of the new social issues of today. I want you to feel comfortable coming to me. If I can help, I will.

About Me:

I am a non-traditional student majoring in accounting. I have wanted to be a CPA since I was 4 years old but decided to have a family and raise children instead. I have 2 boys. Kevin is 21, majors in Criminal Justice, and works at Publix. Bobby is 20 and recently enlisted in the Army. My youngest "baby" is my 14 year old, solid black, miniature poodle named Conrad. Nearly 10 years ago, I divorced and decided it was time for me to go to college! I was working 2 jobs and raising my boys (with my mom's help), so I only took 2 classes per semester. I am proud to say I am only 1 class away from graduation! However, I am taking 2 graduate level classes before I take that last class so I can pay less tuition! My plan is to walk across that stage (for my mom who is now in Heaven), and return ASAP for my masters!  I plan to sit for the CPA and the CIA exams. I truly enjoy being the SI leader for QM and this semester I am also tutoring FN310 in the Tutoring Lab. I am deeply devoted to my faith and love Jesus with all my heart but I am not "religious"; I choose to have a relationship rather than a religion. I am not perfect so I continue to grow and learn and share my knowledge and experiences with others. I believe in helping whoever and whenever I am able to. I look forward to working with each of you this semester. This class will require some effort on your part, but with the assistance offered to you, you can pass!!
